How do I enrol my dog and what does the assessment process involve?
All new clients can register via our Book Now button, which directs you to our secure Time To Pet system.
Once registered, a member of our team will contact you to arrange a complimentary meet and greet. This appointment includes a behaviour and suitability assessment, a discussion of your dog’s routine and temperament, and an opportunity to explore how we can best support you and your dog moving forward.
Following approval, new clients commence on our Foundation Solo Walks. Progression to our Club Group Walks is considered once behavioural readiness and compatibility have been established
Why do all dogs begin on Foundation solo walks and how do you determine readiness for group walking?
All new dogs begin on our Foundation Solo Walks to establish clarity, structure and behavioural foundations before entering a group environment.
This initial phase allows us to assess lead manners, neutrality around other dogs and people, emotional regulation, and overall responsiveness. It also gives your dog the opportunity to build trust and familiarity within our handling systems.
Progression into our Club Group Walks is based on behavioural readiness and compatibility, not assumption. Our priority is to protect the calm, balanced dynamic of our groups while ensuring each dog is set up for long-term success.
Some dogs remain on solo provision where this best supports their temperament or development.
How are your group walks structured to ensure safety and compatibility?
Our Club Group Walks are intentionally curated and professionally managed to maintain calm, balanced dynamics.
Group composition is carefully selected based on temperament, energy levels, behavioural compatibility and stage of development. We do not mix dogs indiscriminately, and every dog within a group has progressed through our Foundation Solo phase.
Walks are structured and purposeful, focused on neutral movement, engagement and controlled interaction rather than chaotic free play.
Off-lead privileges are granted only where recall reliability and behavioural standards meet our safety requirements.
Do you operate on a membership basis and do you offer ad-hoc walks?
Yes. LNC Canine Club operates on a structured membership model with a minimum weekly commitment.
Consistency is essential for behavioural development, group stability and overall care standards. Our membership structure allows us to maintain balanced groups, reliable scheduling and high-quality provision for every dog.
We do not offer one-off or casual bookings for new clients. Limited ad-hoc availability may be available to existing members, subject to capacity.
How do you ensure safety, insurance compliance and welfare standards?
LNC Canine Club is insured with Protectivity, fully licensed, canine first aid trained and DBS checked.
Dogs are transported securely in professionally equipped vehicles and handled using structured, consistent protocols. Group sizes and compositions are carefully managed to maintain safety and behavioural balance.
For additional accountability and peace of mind, our team wear body-worn cameras and utilise Tractive GPS trackers during walks.
In extreme weather conditions, walk formats or durations may be adjusted to protect welfare. Safety, accountability and professional standards underpin every service we provide.
Do you provide licensed home boarding and in-home pet care services?
Yes. We offer licensed home boarding and structured in-home pet care, subject to suitability and availability.
Boarding is provided within a calm, controlled environment and spaces are intentionally limited to maintain high welfare standards. This service is exclusive to existing walking and training clients to ensure familiarity and behavioural compatibility.
All services are delivered in line with licensing requirements and our structured care principles.

Do you provide training and behavioural development support?
Yes.
LNC Canine Club provides structured training and behavioural development programmes designed to create lasting, real-world results.
Our approach focuses on clarity, consistency and practical implementation. Training integrates seamlessly with our walking model to ensure behavioural standards are maintained beyond sessions.
We also host structured Neutrality Walks, better known as our Neutrality Club, to support calm exposure, engagement and controlled social environments. These are structured, owner-attended group training sessions designed to develop calm behaviour around other dogs, people and different environmental distractions.
These are not free-play environments. Each session focuses on controlled movement, engagement and emotional regulation within a group setting.
Neutrality Walks provide a supportive space to practise obedience under distraction, build handler confidence and strengthen real-world reliability.
